Géraldine Masson
CNRS Research Director (DR1) Director of the Labcom HitCat

Géraldine Masson is a CNRS Research Director at ICSN (CNRS / Université Paris-Saclay) and Director of the LabCom HitCat, a joint laboratory between SEQENS and CNRS. Since 2026, she has served as Deputy Director of the ICSN.

She received her PhD in 2003 from Joseph Fourier University (France) under the supervision of Dr. Sandrine Py and Prof. Yannick Vallée. From 2003 to 2005, she was a Marie Curie postdoctoral research fellow in the groups of Prof. Jan van Maarseveen and Prof. Henk Hiemstra at the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands).

In 2005, she was appointed CNRS Research Scientist (Chargée de Recherche) at ICSN. She was promoted to CNRS Research Director (DR2) in 2014 and to Research Director (DR1) in 2020.

She currently serves as Deputy Editor of ACS Organic & Inorganic Au and Associate Editor of The Journal of Organic Chemistry.
