Wei-Yang Ma (2020-2023) joined the group as a PhD student. Then, he continued his different projects on asymmetric organocatalysis and photochemistry during his Post-doc in our group.

Florent Noël (2021-2022) joined the group for a post-doc and worked on the development of an electrochemical cyclization.

Franck Le Vaillant (2020-2021) joined the team as a postdoctoral fellow at Sequens'Lab-CNRS HitCat joint lab where he worked on photocatalysis. He is currently a senior scientist at Iktos, a french drug discovery startup.

Arpan Sasmal (2020-2021) joined the team as a postdoctoral fellow and was involved in a collaborative project with the Prof. Xavier Moreau (Institut Lavoisier, Versailles).

Thibaut Courant (2010-2013 and 2018-2020) joined our group as an undergraduate trainee before working on the synthesis of α-β-functionalized amines via photocatalized and asymetric organocatalyzed processes par procédé photocatalysé et réactions asymétriques organocatalysées. He returned to our group in 2018 for a postdoctoral fellowship and he was involved in the development of methodologies based on photoredox catalysis, electrochemistry and tritylium catalysis. He is now a web developer engineer in Rennes.

Clément Adubert (2019) joined Géraldine Masson group as an postdoctoral researcher and was involved in photocatalisis as well as enantioselective organocatalysis. He is now working in PMC Isochem, a french fine chemistry company.

Jérémy Mérad (2017-2018) worked in the fields of photoredox catalysis and asymmetric organocatalysis during his postdoctoral studies in our group. He is currently an assistant professor at the Claude Bernard University Claude (Lyon 1).

Loïc Pantaine (2017) worked in the team as a postdoctoral researcher in collaboration with Dr. Christophe Bour (Paris Sud University, ICMMO) on the combination of gold- and photocatalysis. After several post-docs in the US and in the UK he is currently a senior scientist at Pharmaron, a chinese pharmaceutical company, in England.

Veronica Santacroce (2016-2017) worked on photoredox catalysis during her postdoctoral fellowship in the team. She is now working as a global packaging innovation specialist in the food industry.

Ludovic Marciasini (2015) joined Dr. Géraldine Masson team as a postdoctoral fellow and he worked on the total synthesis of Martinellic acid. He is curently a R&D scenior scientist at Sicannor, a french company specialized in organometallic chemistry and synthetic intermediates in Douchy-les-Mines.

Guillaume Dagousset (2009-2011 and 2013-2014) worked from 2009 to 2011 under the supervision of Prof. Jieping Zhu and Dr. Géraldine Masson on the Povarov reaction and the phosphoric acid catalyzed enantioselective synthesis of diamino compounds during his Ph. D. at the ICSN. In 2013, he returned to our team as a postdoctoral fellow and he was involved in the developpement of photoredox catalyzed reactions on enecarbamates. He is currently a CNRS "Chargé de Recherches" CNRS at the Institut Lavoisier de Versailles.

Antti Kataja (2013-2014) worked in Dr. Géraldine Masson team as a postdoctoral fellow on the synthesis and the applications of novel chiral hypervalent iodine catalysts. He is now working as a research and development chemist at Fermion Oy, a pharmaceutical company based in Finland.

He Long (2011-2013) worked in the team as a postdoctoral fellow. He is now working as an assistant professor at China West Normal University.

Aurélien Alix (2012) joined the Dr. Géraldine Masson group as a postdoctoral fellow and worked on enantioselective organocatalyzed α-brominations of enamides. He is currently an Associate professor and "Maître de Conférences" at the ICMMO in Orsay.

Claudia Lalli (2010-2012) joined Dr. Géraldine Masson group of as a postdoctoral fellow and worked on enantioselective organocatalyzed α-aminations and α-brominations of enamides. Since October 2012 she is a CNRS "Chargée de Recherche" at the ISC in Rennes.
Ph.D. students

Matteo Leone (2021-2024) developped new methodologies dealing with photocatalyzed reactions during his Ph.D supported by the PhotoReAct project. He is currently working as a postdoctoral fellow in Pr. Maurizio Fagnoni's group (Photogreen Lab, Pavia, Italy).

Damien Bouchet (2020-2024) joined the group as a master student. He continued to work as a Ph.D. student on his projects dealing with asymmetric organocatalyzed cycloadditions and photocatalytic dearomatization of indoles. Then, he started his Post doc at AstraZeneca in Sweden in 2024.

Marine Lombard (2019-2022) completed her Ph.D. in the group under the suppervision of Dr. Luc Neuville. She focused on a catalyzed synthesis of triarylmethanes as well as chiral phosphoric acids-mediated cycloadditions involving trienecarbamates and phenolic dienes. She then began a career as a teacher in chemistry.

Thomas Varlet (2018-2021) joined the group for a master internship. He pursued in the team for his doctoral studies focusing on various topics including click-like cyclizations, chiral phosphoric acid-catalyzed cycloadditions as well as photoredox chemistry. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Fürstner group at Max-Planck-Institute für Kohlenforschung in Mülheim (Germany).

Jiyuan Lyu (2018-2021) completed his Ph. D. in the group under the guidance of Geraldine Masson and Prof. Pierre Auderbert of the PPSM laboratory (ENS Paris-Saclay). He worked on photoredox chemistry with tetrazines. He also developped novel chiral phosphoric acids-derived organophotocatalysts to perform enantioselective reactions. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Ming Shang group at Shanghai Research Institute Of Chemical Industry (China).

Tuan Le (2017-2021) joined the Masson team as a master student to work on a collaborative project with Prof. Pierre Auderbert and Dr Clémence Allain of the PPSM laboratory (ENS Paris-Saclay). He continued his project dealing with tetrazines and heptazines as organic photocatalysts in the group. He is currently an IT developer aprentice.

Guillaume Levitre (2016-2019) joined our group as an undergraduate trainee before working on photocatalyzed reactions using innovative catalysts as well as Brønsted acid catalysis and hypervalent iodine-based reactions during is Ph. D. studies in the team. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Prof. Gary Molander group at the University of Pennsylvania (United States of America).

Coralie Gelis (2015-2018) joined our group as an undergraduate trainee before developing both new Brønsted acids and hypervalent iodine-catalyzed cyclisative enantioselective reactions during her doctoral studies in the team. She then did as a post-doc in Prof. Frank Glorius group at the University of Münster (Germany) until 2020.

Lucie Jarrige (2017-2018) developed new synthesis of heterocycles during her doctoral studies in our group. She is now working as a CNRS "Chargée de Recherche" at the OMC in Rennes.

Audrey Dumoulin (2013-2016) worked in the team during her Ph. D. on the development of phosphoric acid-catalyzed amination reactions of enamide derivatives and the design of new chiral organoiodanes. She is now working at Oncodesign.

Clément Lebée (2013-2016) joined Dr. Masson team for a Ph. D. on enantioselective photooxygenations and epoxydations of enecarbamates catalysed by Brønsted acids. He is working at ANSES.

Aude Carboni (2012-2015) joined Dr. Masson group to study photoredox catalyzed reactions involving enecarbamates. At the present time, she is a primary teacher near Rennes.

Mathieu Bekkaye (2012-2014) joined Dr. Géraldine Masson group to conduct his Ph. D. studies on asymmetric α-substitution of imines using oxidative and organocatalytic processes. After a post-doc in the US he worked for several chemical companies.

Grégory Laurent (2012-2014) conducted his Ph. D. in Dr. Géraldine Masson group on organocatalysed 1,3-dipolar cycloadditions and new organocatalysts synthesis. He is now working in an IT company.

Morgan Languet (2014) joined the group for an internship dealing with photocatalysis. After his Ph. D. studies under the direction of Prof. Janine Cossy (ESPCI), and several academic and industrial position in chemistry, he is now a R&D engineer specialized in flow chemistry at Seqens, a pharmaceutical and API industry in Porchevilles.

Ghislaine Boudali (2013) worked on the enantioselective synthesis of ndolo-pyrrolidines via a tandem Friedel-Craft/cycloaddition reaction. She is today working at GlaxoSmithKline as a brand manager in Marly-le-Roy.
