Adèle Barillon

3rd Year engineering school
Adèle obtained her DUT in Analytical and Synthetic Chemistry from the UIT Robert Schumann at the University of Strasbourg in 2020. Then, she went on to study in an ATS preparatory class, before being accepted at the engineering school ENSMAC of Bordeaux INP, in the Chemistry and Physical Engineering stream.
During her studies, Adèle had the opportunity to complete two significant internships. The first was in a laboratory at the Institute of Condensed Matter Chemistry of Bordeaux (ICMCB -CNRS), where she worked on the positive electrodes of a new proton-conducting battery concept. The second was in a laboratory at Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology in Thailand, where she was involved in the synthesis of a photocatalyst for green hydrogen production.
Adèle joined Géraldine's group in March 2025 for her end-of-study internship, in the LabCOM at Seqens (Procheville, France), focusing on the synthesis of new electrolytes for batteries.
Outside the lab, she enjoys cooking, sewing and travelling.
