1st Year graduate student

Julie Renoult obtained her Bachelors’s degree in Chemistry in 2022 from the University of Rennes 1, where she undertook her first internship focusing on the synthesis and enzymatic study of immunoproteasome inhibitors under the supervision of Pr. Joëlle Vidal (University of Rennes 1, France). She was subsequently accepted into the Molecular and Therapeutics Chemistry Master’s program (CMT) at University of Nantes. During these two years, Julie completed an internship and a sandwich course. In 2023, she joined the lab of Dr. François Guérard (Inserm CRCI2NA, Nantes, France), where she worked on click reaction CuSAC (Cu-catalysed sydnone-alkyne cycloaddition) applied at radiolabelling of antibodies for nuclear oncology. She concluded her formation with a year’s work-study placement at the Servier Research and Development Institute (Paris-Saclay, France) in Dr. Mathieu Pizzonero’s team, where she was focused on the synthesis of anti-cancer molecules.

Julie joined the team of Dr. Géraldine Masson in November 2024 for her industrial CIFRE Ph.D. thesis in the LabCOM HitCat at Seqens (Porcheville, France).

Outside the lab, she enjoys sports particularly scuba diving and cooking.
