Arthur Baudement obtained his engineer diploma of chemistry and biotechnology from the University of Strasbourg in 2023. He realized a first intership dealing with diastereoselective Ugi reaction between peptides with Pr. Romano V.A Orrú at Maastricht University, then, he pursued with a second experience in peptide synthesis with Dr. Frederic Bihel at Strasbourg University.

In 2023 he completed his formation with an internship in phosphine oxide synthesis for medicinal chemistry in the pharamceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim under the supervision of Dr. Christian Gnamm.

Arthur joined the group in october 2023 as PhD candidate focusing on asymmetric organocatalysis and total synthesis of natural products.

Outside the lab he loves climbing and hiking.
