Benoit Delahaye

2nd year master student
Benoit Delahaye obtained a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry in 2024 from Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree (M2) in Organic Chemistry at Université Paris-Saclay. Through his academic training, he has developed a strong foundation in organic chemistry and a particular interest in organocatalysis.
During the first year of his Master’s program, he completed a three-month research internship at the Institut Lavoisier de Versailles under the supervision of Pr. Xavier Moreau. His work focused on the synthesis of cyclohexadienone substrates for the development of new organocatalytic desymmetrization reactions.
In January, he joined Team 51 as part of his M2 internship, focusing on asymmetric organocatalysis aimed at developing new reactivity patterns.
Outside the lab, he plays competitive badminton and enjoys traveling and hiking.
